Tri-Lux

AVAILABLE SOON.

The Tri-Lux (Triple Luxeon) unit is a four piece aluminum CNC machined component that allows three Luxeon LED emitters to be packaged in a very tight grouping with individual optics that will produce a very bright, focused output. The Tri-Lux can be configured as a single color, mixed color, or RGB unit as per the customer’s request.  The Tri-Lux unit consists of a heatsink section to which the three Luxeon LEDs are attached, an optic holding section that holds three separate optics, a polycarbonate protection disc, a top retaining ring and three screws that bolt the individual pieces together. The Tri-Lux unit can utilize three Luxeon I LEDs, three Luxeon III LEDs, three Luxeon K2 LEDs, or any combination of three Luxeon I, III, or K2 LEDs. We are currently looking at adding an option to use three Luxeon Rebel LEDs, but these cannot be mixed with the Luxeon I, III, or K2 LEDs. You can also use the Luxeon V LEDs, but these will generate more heat than the Tri-Lux unit can handle.  Power drive options are up to the user. Some common drive options being direct drive, PWM driver, PWM driver with PWM dimmer, or buck driver.

Dimensions:  The Tri-Lux unit is 1.25” diameter by 2” long.

CAUTION: The Tri-Lux unit gets very hot, especially when used as a single color unit.  It is highly recommended that a supplemental fan be used to help circulate air over the heatsink. If you have any further questions, please contact us at  info@orbitalmachining.com .
